I joined GRS because I was looking for a smaller community at UBC in which I could take an interdisciplinary approach to my education and find like minded people and students.

So far, my favorite course would have to be Anthropology 213: Sex, gender, and culture. This course offered a global and holistic view on sex and gender issues as well as an intimate class size.

Outside of the classroom I spend my time reading, crocheting, cooking/baking and hiking. At home, I like to play with my cats and explore the redwoods of Northern California!

My hidden talents are reading upside down and speaking in pig latin!
