Why did you join GRS?
I just thought that it looked like a really interesting program full of cool people. I really like the interdisciplinary nature of the program and the fact that I can tailor it to my interests.
Do you have a favourite course you’ve taken at UBC?
NURS 280 – Human Sexual Health! It was such a fascinating and eye-opening course. There is so much to learn about sexual health that most people have never heard of before due to stigmatization.
If you could do anything (with unlimited funds) what would you do?
Buy a huge sailboat and a ton of beer and invite everyone who looks cool to party on it (and also like end poverty and stuff like that…)
What do you enjoy doing outside of the classroom?
I like to read, write, try new restaurants, be outside, and spend time with friends. I also teach sexual education in high schools and work at a brunch restaurant (I’m lowkey a brunch aficionado).
