ACAC Global Citizenship Internship – Info Session

Upcoming Event ACAC Global Citizenship Internship – Info Session Wednesday, Sept 28, 2011 — 6:00pm – 8:00pm, and Monday, October 3, 2011 — 6:00pm – 8:00pm Liu Institute for Global Issues, Multipurpose Room The Africa Canada Accountability Coalition (ACAC) is a student-led advocacy group based out of the University of British Columbia (UBC) that translates research about human security in the Great Lakes region – DR Congo, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi – into concrete policy recommendations for which ACAC and its supporters can intelligently advocate. ACAC is now recruiting aspiring global citizens for their 2011 internship programme. ACAC interns engage in policy research and advocacy, benefit from faculty mentoring, learn about ethical debates concerning international development, and translate their studies into their practice of global citizenship.
