Spent one semester abroad studying at La Universidad de Chile in Santiago studying Latin American history and politics.
Spent the next half of the year living in Florianopolis, Brazil. Not a study or volunteer placement. Met a girl and lived with her, learned Portuguese and surfed quite a bit.

Description:
There is so much to say about being abroad that it would not mean much to write something small here. My advice is this: Go abroad. Get out there. You will learn more about yourself than you’d ever imagined. Do not let any fear of the unknown stop you from doing something amazing.
