Seminar: Business Approach and Environmental Competitiveness in Rural Bolivia
Galia Selaya, with more than 10 years of experience in the fields of ecology, forestry and agriculture, has worked throughout the years in the practice of natural resource management in the forestry and agricultural sectors of the Bolivian lowlands and the amazon. Currently she is working in La Paz for the Bolivia RCA Project as manager of the Environmental Competitiveness Unit where she is working to create sustainable markets, mainstream best-management practices, and promote eco-efficiency and a certification-oriented agriculture and forest management environment in order to improve farmers’ businesses and competitiveness. She will be presenting a seminar on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 in Rm 2916 CAWP Caseroom from 12:00 – 12:50pm.
