Position: Environmental Technician – Junior
Location: Calgary, Alberta
Job Function:
- Assist Environmental Coordinators as required in completing various project works.
- Conduct file reviews, data compilation, data entry.
- Complete Regulatory and Guideline reviews to stay current with existing criteria and any ongoing changes.
- Complete Regulatory Applications (Reclamation Certificate, pipeline changes, etc).
- Print and bind reports and documentation that has been reviewed and approved.
- Attend courses and complete safety training as required.
- Provide assistance in the sales and marketing efforts.
- Provide assistance in Safety management.
Job Requirements:
- A University degree or technical diploma in Environmental studies, or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Standard computer skills – Word, Excel, internet research, Outlook.
- Ability to work independently or in team environment – depending upon project requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Detail oriented with a structured approach to process and documentation.
Note: Travel to field locations will be required.
