The first ever UBC conference where you decide the outcome. What is The Briefing? It’s a conference where all participants donate a minimum of $1 in return for a vote. 15 charitable causes will present 5 minute pitches to sway the participants’ hearts and votes. The cause that wins gets all the donations. We are now accepting applications for causes. See the attached document for details. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are on a “first come first served” model. As we do not evaluate the worthiness of a cause, those applications which fit the criteria are immediately approved and assigned a presentation slot during the conference. Once the 15 slots are filled up, no more applications are accepted. So apply early! The latest deadline is March 31, 2010.
