5km or 10km Run for Darfur

The Fire Wood Run (FWR) for Darfur will be held at Jericho Beach Park on September 27th, 2009. Participants will carry batons (firewood) as they travel the 5 or 10 kilometers. The point of this is to raise awareness of the Darfur crisis and create a symbolic link with people in Darfur. Every dollar raised will go towards buying fuel-efficient stoves for genocide survivors living in refugee camps in Darfur. More Information
