• Canadian citizens or permanent residents
• Enrolled full-time in a recognized undergraduate first-entry program leading to a degree, diploma or certificate at an eligible Canadian post-secondary educational institution
• Program must be at least two years duration and must be recognized by the student financial assistance program in the student’s province or territory of residence
• By the end of the academic year, students must have:
  • Completed the first year – but not the second year – of a current program leading to a diploma or certificate, OR
  • Completed the second year – but not the third year – of a current program leading to an associate bachelor or bachelor degree, OR
  • Completed the first year – but not the second year – of a current program leading to a technical DEC (for CEGEP students only), OR
  • Completed the first year – but not the second year – of a current program leading to an associate bachelor or bachelor degree (for students who have completed an academic DEC in CEGEP and are studying at a university in Quebec),
• In the past 5 years, applicants may not have already obtained another degree, diploma or certificate
• Minimum cumulative post-secondary school GPA of B+

• Applications must be submitted to the post-secondary school currently attended by the applicant
• Deadlines vary for each post-secondary institution
• Letters of reference and transcripts required
