HESO 449: Perspectives on Health: Policy, Promotion, and Social Justice
January to April 2009
Are you a 3rd or 4th year student at UBC? Are you interested in health, health policy, health promotion, and the roles these play in social justice? Do you want to make positive changes in your community, your country, and beyond?
If so, UBC is offering a student-directed seminar (SDS), HESO 449 – Perspectives on Health: Policy, Promotion, and Social Justice, from January to April 2009. The course is designed to create a diverse learning environment by incorporating third and fourth year students from various disciplines.
HESO 449 is an approved, three credit HESO course under the supervision of Dr. Steve Morgan of the School of Population and Public Health, and it will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 – 6:30 pm.
