This community forum will focus on different perspectives on HIV/AIDS and harm reduction within a local context. It will not only address the HIV/AIDS within the Downtown Eastside but also how it pertains to youth, particularly students.
This forum will feature:
• Dr. Kate Shannon, British Columbia Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS
• M-J Milloy, British Columbia Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS and Insite
• Meaghan Thumath, School of Nursing, University of British Columbia
• Liz Evans, Executive Director and Founder of the Portland Hotel Society
• Kerry Porth, P.A.C.E. Society Agency Coordinator
• Jenny Kwan, MLA for Vancouver Mount Pleasant
