Mini-Olympics Coordinator- 50 hour contract

Reply to: emily@kitshouse.org Date Posted: 2008-09-05 Kitsilano Neighbourhood House is looking for a contract special-events worker to coordinate a mini-Olympics as part of our Second Annual Autumn Fair. The Autumn Fair is on Saturday October 25th,2008- 10am-4pm. Job Responsibilities include: a) Contract a carpenter/artist to build the mini-Olympics ‘equipment’ & coordinate this piece b) Connect with Olympians/ Para-Olympians & their organization for representation at the event. c) Work with the Out of School Care Staff to develop games and equipment. d) Coordinate the area on the day of the event A criminal record check is required (or the willingness to get one) Kitsilano Neighbourhood House Vision: The Westside of Vancouver is a healthy, safe and vibrant community where everyone thrives.
