Location: La Serena, Chile
Job description: Spanish to English translation of academic papers and documents for governmental, non-governmental and private sector organizations. I do this both on an independent basis and for two translation agencies based in Santiago, Chile. I work from home on my own schedule, allowing me time to do a little organic gardening in my yard and look for new professional opportunities in Chile’s Coquimbo Region, where I have recently moved with my partner.

Reserva Costera Valdiviana ( A 60,000 hectare natural reserve in southern Chile belonging to The Nature Conservancy where I worked as park guard supervisor and administrative assistant for two years).
