Roxana Quinde was born and raised in Lima, Peru. She recalls her first experience of agriculture in my childhood was when she spent my summer school holidays in a farmstead of Northern Peru. She graduated with degrees in Animal Science from The National Agrarian University, La Molina, Peru and a M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics from the University of British Columbia. She first moved to Vancouver in the late 80s. As coordinator of Global Partnerships, Roxana has traveled to Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and Venezuela. While on campus, she has learned about many differences in cultures as the GRS office manages international, visiting and exchange students as well as linkages and consortiums from around the world.
