Roxana Quinde was born and raised in Lima, Peru. She recalls her first experience of agriculture in my childhood was when I spent my summer school holidays in a farmstead of Northern Peru. I graduated with degrees in Animal Science from The National Agrarian University, La Molina, Peru and a M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics from the University of British Columbia. My first International experience began when moving to Vancouver in the late 80s. As coordinator of Global Partnerships I have traveled to Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and Venezuela. While on campus I have learned about differences in cultures as our office manages international, visiting and exchange students as well as linkages and consortiums from around the world.
